 2000 Watts Solar PV were imported from UK and was installed by my nephew in my Lawyer sister's office and house in Jaffna. Total costs are like Rs 350/Watt which is like $2.7/Watt installed with the monitoring system. Only 1500 Watts system went on the roof. The Rs 15,000/moth bill got reduced to Rs 3000/month. CEB has not fixed the promised net meter yet.. The simple payback period works to just 3.5 Years. (We got the meter after 5 more months) After the meter was fixed the bill came down to Rs 300/mot Sent by Gnana |
